Darlene Marshall, special events coordinator for Duluth's Greater Downtown Council, has retired after 13 years of service. 

"Many of you have witnessed her endless energy and dedication to the Downtown," the GDC said in an email statement. "She has been a great asset to our organization and we have appreciated the lasting relationships she has cultivated with our members, sponsors and vendors."
